Suspicious Male In The Area Thursday 30th July 2026

Good Afternoon

I have received a number of reports of a suspicious male in the Upper Lune Valley yesterday evening / early night (18:00-21:00 hours thursday 30th July) around Kirkby Lonsdale Road, near Swarthdale and Whittingham Village.  He is reported to have been displaying odd behaviour, approaching people for money, making reference to him being in a gang, potentially under the influence.

He is described as a white/tanned male, approximately 40 years old, with dark curly brown hair, beard wearing a blue hooded top and cargo pants with a Birmingham accent.

I did attend the area at the time however I did not locate him. Just a message to make you aware and if anyone has any footage or any interactions with him, please respond to me.
